This blog is dedicated to all naturists of color. Our numbers may seem few by comparison, but we are out there.
I created The Black Naturist blog to encourage all nudist of color. Sometimes it’s hard to tell the intent of a picture just by looking at it. However, the images provided in the blog are intended to show people that there are a lot of us out there. Personally, I have been participating in social nudist events for about 7 years now. In other words, I have been an active nudist for more than a quarter of my life. The reason I felt this blog was necessary was because it was hard for me to get involved in this lifestyle. Other than the obvious social views on public nudity, I was troubled by the fact that I was a young minority which was atypical for what I expected a nudist to be. I eventually tried it thanks to my friend, who knew how interested I was in the subject, deciding she would support me and join me at Haulover Beach in Florida. To my surprise there were quite a few minorities at that beach. When I returned home, I decided to join a local nudist club in my area. This club wasn’t the most diverse place, but the people where so nice and I was so comfortable that I just didn’t care anymore. I have been enjoying the lifestyle ever since. I believe the fear is what is stopping most of us from participating in events containing social nudity. People fear that they will stand out because of their age, shape, and color. The truth is… nobody cares. Get the courage to try it out and you will see that people really don’t care what you look like. Go and you may find out that there are more people like you practicing nudism than you think. Even if there isn’t, it could be your presence that encourages others to give it a try as well.
I want to thank all the genuine people who have been following The Black Naturist blog. There will probably be very few updates from here on. Most of my posts have been pictures and there are definitely enough of them by now. I really do hope you enjoyed my blog, thanks again.
